On May 28th we held a successful “over lunch” workshop for area businesses in part with the Flint & Genesee Chamber. We covered a lot of ground with everything included in our session intended to educate our attendees on protecting their companies, themselves, and their team members.
If you missed it (or if you wanted a refresher on what was discussed), we explored:
- The role that everyone plays in fighting against security breaches
- How everyone needs to be correctly trained to mitigate potential threats
- What the actual definition of “compliance” really is
- How compliance dictates what different industries need to do
We also dove into ransomware in some detail, covering where it is in its development as a threat and the costs it brings to businesses.
We’re glad we could share this information, and as my team can tell you I’ve been saying, it will only become more critical to get this information out to as many people as possible.
If you’d like to learn more about cybersecurity, please don’t hesitate to call me and my team for a free, no-obligation risk assessment. Give us a call at 734-927-6666 / 800-GET-XFER to learn more.
