DETROIT, MI — On January 23, local managed IT provider XFER and numerous other businesses supported this year’s edition of Soup City, the Coalition On Temporary Shelter’s fundraiser against homelessness and generational poverty at downtown Detroit’s Roostertail.
Attendees had the privilege to enjoy assorted small plates and various soups while enjoying local Motown talents. The Motown Edition, as the event was called, featured numerous musical acts, such as flutist Alexander Zonjic, the Motor City Horns, Serieux, The Ladeez, urban violinist Kym Brady, as well as DJ Kaely Leliz.
The team at XFER is proud to have the opportunity to support this cause, both because the event is an excellent celebration of Detroit’s cultural history and because it supports such a worthy goal—breaking a cycle of poverty and homelessness by supporting families currently struggling with their situation. We also want to thank everyone who contributed to the night’s successes, from the other sponsors to anyone who attended.
Those who still wish to support COTS can do so by visiting soupcity2025.funraise.org, as we hope you choose to do.
