XFER has always been a family business. It started in 1994 when Mike Hartke, the father of our current CEO Brandon Hartke, started providing wide-area networks and digital equipment servers.

During the early years, the business expanded into telephony through the acquisition of an existing company. This led to XFER's expertise in unified communications integration between data and voice networks. A transition into the role of a managed service provider was easy, given the relationships established by working with area businesses.

In light of this milestone, we wanted to take a moment to recognize all the members of the XFER extended family—every client and every team member who has contributed to our success over the last three decades. We couldn’t have done it without the support of a driven and dedicated team and the trust so many have put in us as they put an integral element of their business into our hands. This support and trust have allowed XFER to live up to a greater vision, growing from the small communications company that Mike started to the technology provider and consultancy it is today.

Our appreciation knows no bounds, so the phrase “thank you” doesn’t quite do justice to how thankful we are.

Looking back, we are so proud of what we have accomplished due to this trust. More importantly, we’re proud we can look forward with confidence and renew the same promise we’ve always made: to continue supporting our community’s businesses as technology progresses and contribute to growing their successes.
